Clarification on the previous message, this is for 3rd graders at Northview only. Pizza and drinks will be provided tomorrow as well.

Dear Parents,

Due to threats reported at the Columbus Zoo on two of the last four days, we have decided to err on the side of caution and change our plans. Instead, we will be going to Triple Crown tomorrow.

We will leave at 9:00 a.m. and return by the end of the day. Please make sure your child wears socks so they can safely enjoy the inflatables.

Reminder that Northview’s Carnival will be tomorrow from 5-7. Live auction starts at 7:00. Free Games, food trucks, inflatables.
We have signed Bengals memorabilia to auction off as well. Hope to see you there.

Good morning everyone! Governor DeWine will be visiting our elementary school today at 10:30 AM to spend time with our students. His visit is expected to last about one hour.

During this time, you may notice police cars outside the building, and the gates along the pickup lines will be closed temporarily. Please plan accordingly if you are arriving or picking up during this window.

Northview Pictures have been rescheduled for Monday, March 23rd for students in grades K–5.

Preschool students will have their pictures taken on Tuesday, March 24th, as they do not have classes on Mondays.

Please also note that on 2-hour delay days, morning Latchkey is not available, and breakfast will not be served.

Reminder to Parents & Guardians,

On Monday, January 19th, there will be no school in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

On Tuesday, January 20th, students will not be in session due to Parent-Teacher Conferences.

If you would like to schedule a time to discuss your child’s academic progress with his or her teacher, please call the school at 740-286-2390. Conference times are available in 15-minute intervals from 1:00 PM–7:00 PM.

Good afternoon. This is Melissa Ball with a message regarding our return to school. Tomorrow, January 5th will be our first day back for our students and staff. Success will resume on JANUARY 12th. Have a great evening.

Northview students will have Success on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Due to our holiday program on Thursday, December 11th—6:00 PM for grades K–2 and 7:00 PM for grades 3–5—there will be no Success on Thursday.
We will RESUME Success after our winter break on January 12th.

Dear Northview Parents and Guardians,

This is a reminder that there will be no school on Monday, November 3rd, due to Parent-Teacher Conferences, which will be held from 12:30 PM to 7:00 PM. We encourage all families to attend and take this opportunity to discuss their child’s progress with teachers.

Additionally, there will be no school on Tuesday, November 4th, as our teachers will be participating in Professional Development.

Attention NV parents and Guardians: Please have your child wear the red Northview shirts passed out today in their scheduled parade. The parade the students will walk or ride in is based on the blue paper that you turned into the office.
Wednesday morning riders meet at CVS at 10:45. The parade starts at 11:00.
Wednesday and Saturday PM meet on Broad Street by the church at 7:30. The parade starts at 7:45.

Also a reminder, school is not in session on Wednesday, September 17th.

If your child is interested in participating in the summer reading program, they can access book levels by using the website Arbookfind. Also, you can use Tumble Books through our school website and EPIC.

Reminder to our parents that Thursday, May 22nd will be the last day of school. We will be dismissing at 12:30pm. Latchkey will be available until 5:30 that evening. Also, our Ball Buck shop will be open for the last time this year on Wednesday, May 21st. If your child has Ball Bucks at home, tell them they need to spend them this year. The Ball Bucks will not carry over to next year. Thank you and we appreciate all that you do to help make our school year successful.

5th Graders who attended the COSI field trip will be arriving to the school a little earlier than anticipated. The estimated arrival time is now 4:15.

The 3rd Graders will be returning from the Columbus Zoo around 4:40. The bus will drop your child off at the front of the building. Please make arrangements to be here at the school for pick-up. Thank you!!
