We’ve had two tough days in a row — both Westview and Northview have topped us in attendance. But the week isn’t over yet, and Southview still has time to take the lead!
We’ve been hanging close, but we need to make it clear that Southview shows up each day — ready, proud, and unstoppable. Tomorrow is our chance to make a statement and turn this challenge around!
📚 Attendance Fact:
Ohio’s new attendance law makes it clear that all absences — even excused ones — count toward chronic absenteeism. Being in school every day helps students stay on track and connected, and it shows our Southview pride in action.
Let’s show everyone what Southview can do when we all show up!

Southview, we gave it a great effort today — but both Westview and Northview edged ahead of us in the attendance challenge today. 😬
The good news? We’re still in the game, and tomorrow’s our comeback day! We were close, but we need every single Ironman to help push us over that 96% mark and prove that Southview shows up each day! 💪
📚 Attendance Fact:
Under Ohio’s new attendance law, students are considered chronically absent if they miss 10% or more of the school year — that’s just 18 days total! Every day in class matters — for learning, friendships, and success.

*Parents may begin signing in their child at 7:30 PM (Wednesday & Saturday nights).
*Parents must stay with their child until they are loaded on the float (around 7:45 PM)
*Pick-up is immediately after the Southview float returns to the field by the Lillian Jones Museum.

The New Game edition of our Southview yearbook is here and ready to celebrate the memories we made this year!
📘 Students who pre-ordered a yearbook will receive their copy on the first day of school, August 13, 2025.
💲 If you missed the discounted pre-order, it’s okay! We have a limited number of yearbooks available for $25 each—first come, first served.
